SAMPLE MOUNT KENYA TREKKING
ITINERARY
4 DAYS TREKS VIA SIRIMON -
SIRIMON OR NAROMORU - NAROMORU.
These treks are suited for hiking
groups which have different hiking experiences since
they ascend and descend through the same route. They are
convenient especially when one can’t be able to summit.
4 DAYS NAROMORU - NAROMORU
ITINERARY-: Ref: KG N
Day 1 - We transfer the hikers
to Naromoru park gate where they start the
3hrs acclimatization hike to Met Station 3050mts
for overnight.
Day 2 - Hike gradually through
moorland zone to Mackinders camp 4200mts for
overnight.
Day 3 - Pre - dawn summit
attempt of point Lenana 4985mts to reach there
before the African sunrise.Hike down to Mackinders
camp for breakfast and overnight.
Day 4 - Descend down to Met
Station for vehicle pick up.
Please note that
Sirimon - Naromoru or Naromoru - Sirimon can
also be done within 4 days.
