David grew up at the base of Mt Kenya with close proximity to the National Outdoor Leadership School. He gained an interest in mountaineering at an early age, something he still enjoys. He has been a Technical Guide for 16 years. He leads all our technical climbs on Mt. Kenya. He trained as professional climber with NOLS and has worked with the Mt. Kenya Rescue Team for over a decade. He is a certified WFR.
